The owners of Sabbath Coffee Roasters in Michigan are obsessed with finding and sharing great coffee, both in their shop and online. Their passion for coffee has been rewarded by multiple local awards based on hospitality and coffee excellence. They always seek out the best roasters and never accept anything less than perfect. Whether they’re sourcing regional selected coffees or trying wild experimental processes, their goal is to share incredible coffee with their community.

This small, cozy coffee shop in Royal Oak, Michigan is a must visit for coffee lovers. They have a very interesting brewing process and delicious menu items (they do offer some vegan options). They also sell their own coffee beans that they roast on-site.

They also have a couple of sister stores, one in Petoskey and the other in East Jordan. We have been to both, and both are very nice and well-stocked with amazing coffee. We love stopping by to pick up a latte or mocha and they always seem to have a great variety of flavors on tap!

The space is adorned with unique wallpaper featuring stylized coffee plants, which also appear on the company’s whole bean retail packaging. The design, created by co-founder Miranda Graham, a professional graphic designer, adds life to the shop, which is illuminated with large globe pendant lights. A Curtis G4 Gold Cup brewer equipped with UFO spray heads brews pour-overs, while a Slayer espresso machine paired with Compak grinders cranks out shots for traditional coffee drinks and fun offerings like sweetened cold brewed coffee.
