Your Impact

Your donation in support of CARE Korea would help them

  • rescue dogs horrifically abused in the South Korean dog meat trade,
  • rescue the many other abused and abandoned animals in South Korea,
  • treat, rehabilitate, feed, and shelter the rescued animals, and
  • find adopters for the animals in their care, both internationally and within South Korea.

About CARE Korea

CARE Korea is a nonprofit that rescues, shelters, and fosters and re-homes animals rescued primarily from the dog meat trade in South Korea.

CARE Korea has a 15-year track record of rescuing animals in South Korea, and has been instrumental in improving public opinion regarding animal rights and animal rights legislation in that country.

About South Korea

South Korea is a country with a rapidly increasing population of companion animals in households, and an increasing awareness of animal rights. However, there are still many people who still see animals as objects to be used for the benefit of humans, and there is still a small proportion of the population who regularly consumes dog meat.
