Siheung Slaughterhouse Demolished
We are happy to announce that on January 19th, the Siheung Slaughterhouse was finally demolished after the remaining goats that were still there had been safely transferred to a temporary shelter.

We have already reported on the plight of the dogs kidnapped from the Siheung Slaughterhouse after the owner had agreed to give them up to us, and before they were due to be rescued, and their horrendous journey by truck from and back to the slaughterhouse.

We are happy to announce that on January 19th, the Siheung Slaughterhouse was finally demolished after the remaining goats that were still there had been safely transferred to a temporary shelter.

While this is fantastic news, a bigger task yet awaits us; that of treating the animals we have rescued, and sheltering them all until they are adopted or other permanent homes are found for them.

Medical expenses are expected to exceed 100 million Korean Won (Approx. $84,500 US,) and procuring temporary shelters for the dogs and goats are the other two major items on our agenda.

Our dedicated staff and volunteers have worked hard to make this rescue happen and make sure all the animals have got this far, but we need your continued help and support to achieve the remaining goals.

Please consider making a donation to help us keep these animals safe and find them new homes.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated with all the progress that we make.
