UPDATE: 53 Cats Rescued From Illegal Cat Factory

CARE Korea is no longer a Sponsored Project of World Animal Rescue Fund.
This post is translated from a post on their website, and was not written by us.

With CARE Korea activists, volunteers worked together to clean up the shelter that temporarily housed 53 cats that had been recently rescued from an illegal cat factory.

Our activists have visited the shelter working with the rescued cats daily to check up on progress, and every 1 to 2 weeks working with the volunteers to clean up and groom its residents. The ill cats have been transported to the vet; all rescued cats have been neutered.

When the cats were first discovered, their skin was excreting pus, paining the cats, which have now improved profusely and become clean once again. The cats have improved so much that they no longer resemble their grave past at the factory. An announcement in regards to the adoption of these cats will be up shortly.
