Being Born on the Street, This Cat’s Only Fault was Suffering from Hunger

The hungry cat saw in the distance a plate full of delicious chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was completely marinated in poison.

After she consumed it, the cat sat motionlessly and the pain began to build in her body. She could not even muster up the strength to go protect her own kittens.

Being Born on the Street, This Cat’s Only Fault was Suffering from Hunger 1

Cases like this have not been uncommon and CARE Korea received notice of this horrific case which occurred in Daejon.

A man had intentionally covered plates of chicken in poison in an attempt to kill the cats in the area. A local cat mom saw the aforementioned cat, motionless and weak, and brought her to the veterinarian. The situation is very risky for her and we want to ensure her survival.

According to the veterinarian, internal bleeding was present and the cat’s life was severely endangered.

The poison would slowly melt her internal organs, in a matter of 3 weeks to 2 months.

We hope that you will help us in the days to come in our efforts to save this cat’s life. We will continue to fight for the lives of faultless cats who are being abused and horrifically treated on the streets until these situations exist no more.
